
Dr. Anthi Koskina is a Scientific Associate at the National Observatory of Athens (NOA), since 2024, and has served as a Legal Collaborator to the President of the NOA (2020 – 2025). In this capacity, she co-authored “Greek Space Law” (2025) with the then-President of the NOA, Professor M. Plionis, resulting in both English (Springer, 2025) and Greek (Sakkoulas, 2025) editions. She concurrently holds the position of Research Fellow at the Athens Public International Law Center (AthensPIL) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Greece, and serves as a Professor of Law for Collège Idef-PARIS XIII in Athens, Greece, as well. Her academic background includes a PhD earned cum laude from the NKUA on the topic of The Right to Conduct Scientific Research, which was subsequently published as a monograph in 2013 (Nomiki Bibliothiki). Her research has been supported through competitive fellowships, including one for a project titled “Artificial Intelligence and Space Law” (2019), co-funded by the Greek Ministry of Economy and the EU (NSRF 2014-2020), and she was elected to participate in the International Visiting Professor Program (USTC Fellowship Initiative) in Hefei, China (2020). She is a member of several international law associations and maintains professional practice as a lawyer registered with the Athens Bar Association (2002). Her scholarly work is characterized by a focus on the intersections of Science, Technology, and Law, particularly in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Climate Change, and Space Law, with contributions through numerous articles and presentations at academic conferences dedicated to these fields.
