VASILINA STAMATOPOULOU

Vasilina Stamatopoulou studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (LL.B.) and holds an LL.M. in Public International Law with distinction from the same university. Her LL.M. thesis explored the legality of the confiscation of profits of frozen Russian assets under International Law. She is currently working as a Junior Research Fellow at the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights (MFHR), and she is one of the coaches of the 2025 NKUA team competing in the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court Competition. She has served as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of De Jure Journal. Her main research interests include public international law, international economic law, international dispute settlement, international law and domestic courts, international human rights law and international criminal law. She is fluent in Greek, English and French and has intermediate knowledge of Spanish.
