Vasiliki is pursuing a PhD in International Law at the University of Geneva, focusing on the interpretation and application of the principle of full reparation in international investment arbitration. She currently serves as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Thomas Schultz, teaching and assisting in courses on international arbitration, common law, negotiation, and mediation. Additionally, she has coached the University's Willem C. Vis Moot team, which achieved excellent results in the 33rd edition of the competition. She previously trained at the ICSID Secretariat of the World Bank and at the Paris-based boutique law firm Honlet Legum Arbitration, gaining experience in investor-State and commercial arbitration. She also practiced dispute resolution at Potamitis Vekris Law Firm in Athens and served as an intern for one year at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs (International Treaties Office). Vasiliki holds a Master’s in International Law (with distinction) from the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID), for which she received a full scholarship, as well as an LL.M. in Public International Law and an LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has been admitted to the Athens Bar Association since 2021. Her research interests lie at the intersection of public international law and international arbitration, with a particular focus on international investment law, investor-State dispute settlement and the law of State responsibility. She regularly publishes, lectures and presents on issues relating to public international law and international arbitration.
