LYDIA KRIKI

Lydia Kriki is a PhD candidate in both University of Athens and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, under a co-tutelle scheme. She is also a scholar of the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation; her doctoral project is funded through a Grant since June 2023. Her research focuses on the human right to environment, taking interest on both Public and Private international law aspects.

Lydia has studied law at the University of Athens (LL.B.) and holds two LL.M. degrees: one in Public International Law from the University of Athens and one in European Law from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University. She has also taken a stay abroad in Max Planck Institute for International and European Procedural Law (Scholarship for Visiting Researchers) and in Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich.

Lydia has published in various international law journals, including Revue critique de Droit International Privé and Yearbook of International Environmental Law (OUP). She is a member of the Athens Bar Association.

Her interest areas include: general international law, international environmental and energy law and human rights dispute.
