Nikolaos Voulgaris is a teaching assistant at the LLM in public international law at the University of Athens and a Fellow at the Athens Public International Law Centre. He completed his doctoral studies at King’s College London in December 2015. During his PhD he taught public international law at King’s and worked as a research assistant at the Freedom Rights Project. He holds an LLB and an LLM from the University of Athens and an LLM from King’s. For his first LLM dissertation he was awarded the Tenekides prize, a biennial prize for the best dissertation written by a Greek citizen. In 2011, he completed an internship at the European Court of Human Rights and in 2008 at the Greek National Commission for Human Rights. His research interests include the law of International Organisations, the law of international responsibility, the International Use of Force and the sources of international law.
