2016 EDITION

On 20-26 August 2016, Athens PIL and ELSA Athens hosted the first Athens Summer Law School on International Investment Law, in Athens, Greece. The summer school brought together 46 students from 27 different countries and consisted of a total of 39 hours of interactive lectures over 6 days. Athens PIL faculty and fellows, along with scholars and practitioners from all over the world gave various lectures in subjects of international investment law in order to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the law, as well as of the approaches taken by arbitral tribunals with respect to the various aspects and controversies of the disciplines.
