AthensPIL Members are invited to the in-person lecture by Ambassador Marja Lehto (former UN International Law Commission Special Rapporteur, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finland). The lecture will take place on Wednesday 3.5.2023, 19:00-21:00, in-person, at the Hall of Theoretical Sciences, 3 Sina street, Room 5.

Ambassador Marja Lehto serves as Senior Expert of public international law at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. She is also Adjunct Professor of international law at the University of Helsinki. Dr Lehto was member of the UN International Law Commission and Special Rapporteur for the topic “Protection of the Environment in Relation to Armed Conflicts” from 2017 to 2022.

This lecture takes place in the context of the postgraduate course “Diplomacy through Experts”.’
