Join us on 9 February 2026 at 18:00 at the Great Hall of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Main University Building, 30 Panepistimiou St) for the event “Democracy, the Rule of Law, Human Rights. The Council of Europe in the Face of Contemporary Challenges”, followed by the award ceremony conferring the “Lord Byron” Prize upon the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mr. Alain Berset.

The event is organised by the School of Law of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Hellenic Society of International Law & International Relations.
