ELENI GERASOUDI

Eleni is a researcher at Athens PIL and trainee lawyer with the Athens Bar Association. She holds an LL.B. from the Democritus University of Thrace and an LL.M. in Public International Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

During her studies she participated both as team member and coach in Moot Court Competitions including the Telders International Law MCC, the Philip C. Jessup International Law MCC and the Netherlands Institute for the Law of the Sea MCC, having received several awards. She also served as a member of the International Board of Review for the 2020 Telders MCC.

In the past she has interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and represented the European Law Students' Association (ELSA) at the World Intellectual Property Organization, while having served at ELSA Komotini for two consecutive terms as President and Vice-President.

Her research interests include general public international law, dispute settlement and law of the sea with a focus on sea level rise and maritime zones and boundaries.
